chibi cast : the boys

aaa haha omg i'm so excited. i've been working on this for days. i've always wanted to have a good cast picture of all my original characters, so.

i mean, obviously this isn't all my characters, just the main sixteen.

left to right;
bottom row: zelfyr ambrose, natsuo kimimura, yukio mihara (yuki), jonas hakkim, dru casey (zeke)
second row: therís coquin, jayden syri, matheo norman, ezrie moitra
third row: dionysus kostas (dion), jacinto quinn, sharyn, tevia, aleksandr nikolayov (sasha)
top row (corners): moth'je alavi (moth), mikah ermin

i'm gonna ramble a little now, just for my own sake really. beware! there be character trivia yonder

theris, jayden, jonas, ezrie, sasha, sharyn, moth and dion are all seen here in the first outfit i ever played them in, with some palette adjustments.

theris, jayden, moth, sharyn, tevia, ezrie and zelfyr were all originally created for dungeons and dragons. wow. zelfyr is the only one of those not in his original outfit, but then again, he didn't really have much of a specific outfit originally. just 'black'.
their classes / races
theris- human bard, jayden - human cleric, moth - half-orc cleric, sharyn - half-elf druid, tevia - wood elf rogue, ezrie - human rogue, zelfyr - human uuh... that's classified.

theris and zelfyr are my only characters with tattoos.

in contrast, only seven of my characters don't have any piercings-- whoops. (sharyn, mikah, sasha, jayden, matheo, natsuo, zelfyr)

added up, my characters have had 26 piercings between them all, which is incidentally the exact same number of total piercings i have had. this was completely accidental. i double-checked. seriously.

i had to change jonas's outfit colors because i realized when drawing this that they were uh, almost identical to tevia's; brown pants and boots, ochre shirt, olive green jacket. and tev has seniority.

speaking of seniority, here's a character creation timeline:

2006: jacinto
2008: yuki, natsuo, zeke
2009: sasha, jayden
2010: tevia, theris, moth, zelfyr
2011: sharyn, ezrie
2012: jonas, dion, matheo, mikah

this makes it look as if i haven't made any characters in four years haha... but honestly it just takes them a while to climb the ladder. > > natsuo didn't reach 'main character' tier, for example, till 2013. i have strict standards. they're divided into folders and stuff.

technically, mikah existed in his first form back in 2008, created along with natsuo as 'support cast' for yuki, but that 'placeholder' wasn't filled in with actual personality until 2012, by which point he no longer had anything to do with the other two at all.

my characters frequently meet eachother in various rps, but natsuo and yuki are the only characters of mine who are a canon part of eachother's backstories, no matter what universe / version of their backstories i'm using.

elves are bad-ass.

i think that's pretty much all i have to say.

also, matheo is without a doubt the most normal-looking character in this picture. wow. sorry dude.
